IPT offer remote monitoring of our power solutions. Remote monitoring enables all of the alarms and notifications from a UPS to be accessed remotely by your staff or our staff.
UPS remote panel can provide a range of useful operating information including specific UPS input and output voltage and frequency values as well as status information on the UPS battery set.
Our ReComm unit requires a BT line and we can forward any alarms (maximum of eight) that can be presented as a volt-free contact. The system is fully customisable with up to five pagers per system. You can specify which personnel receive the alarms, as and when they happen. For example, in the event of a flood the monitoring system could inform the Key Holder, the IT Manager and the Maintenance Manager.

Our solutions create an environment where all power systems can be monitored remotely from a single screen. Our solutions can connect through TCP/IP as well as Modbus, enabling the UPS data to be fed into custom systems over a standard Ethernet connection. This ensures your back power is always 'ready for action'.
The system comes with a high-definition remote panel display can provide information in seven languages including: English, Italian, German, French, Spanish, Russian and Chinese.
Peace of mind, 24 hours a day
Although your UPS equipment is protecting your critical load 24 hours a day, it is only part of the picture. An air-conditioning failure or water leak during the night could put your entire operation at risk costing hours of downtime.
Remote paging lends itself to critical systems monitoring in order to notify off-site personnel that an alarm condition has occurred. Prompt notification can assist in scheduling fast response to any system anomalies and help ensure that staff are made aware of transient alarms that may otherwise go unnoticed.
- The system not only monitors battery information but also
- Room over-temperature
- Chiller (A/C) Unit Failure
The onsite unit is supplied complete with its own internal UPS system and communicates key alarms to our base station at Head Office. The alarms decoded and immediately transmitted to the designated receivers via modem.
Some of the typical alarms for which you might need to use our remote monitoring system include.
Fast response to such developing situations can avoid costly downtime and with units starting at £299 the question is not "can you afford it?" but "can you afford not to?"
